MINISTRIES

Ministries are the life blood of this church. You will want to become involved where your spiritual needs can be fulfilled and where you can share what God has done in your life. Whether it is joining in community service or becoming part of the youth group we want for you to find a place to serve and a place to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Music Ministries

MUSIC Ministries

The music ministry here at Bethany SDA is exists to serve the church with the gifts God has given them in music. The role music plays in developing and growing your ministry cannot be overstated. The worship experience is not only about hearing a message from a minister or learning a new interpretation of Scripture; a complete and fulfilling worship experience involves community-building, bonding and creating atmosphere through physical vibration as only music can.

Children's Ministries

Children's Ministries

Bethany SDA children's ministry is dedicated to helping children learn to think like Jesus. We do this by teaching students bible stories and helping them to apply it to their everyday lives. We also provide age appropriate, engaging activities that help foster growth in Christ which the children are excited to learn and to share. Come and join us each week as we seek to show children, the best example of Jesus.

YOUTH MINISTRIES

YOUTH MINISTRIES

Bethany's youth are the most valuable resource in our church. For us to achieve our goal to take the gospel to the entire world, we need their creativity, energy, and risk-aversion. The innovative and energetic forces of our young people, however, need to be harnessed and constructively directed for God! Our congregation recognizes the unique gifts and abilities of each member.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

COMMUNITY SERVICE

"If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead" (James 2:15-17). At Bethany, we desire a living faith. Our Community Service Department distributes clothing to those in need. We also run a Soup Kitchen where a delicious, healthy meal is served every Sunday.

ADVENTURES CLUB

ADVENTURES CLUB

The Adventurer Program was created to assist parents in their important responsibilities as the child's primary teachers and evangelizers. The program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and to further
the child's development in spiritual, physical, mental and social areas. Throught the Adventurer Program the church, home and school can work together with the parent to develop a mature, happy child. Adventurers offers a wide range of learning experiences to shape positive values and enable young people to reach their full potential. The program includes both indoor and outdoor/nature activites which create self-confidence and an appreciation of God's creation.

Health Ministries

Health Ministries

Bethany SDA health ministries is not only about assisting our members with living healthier, happier lives; it is also about reaching out to the surrounding community. From demonstrating healthy principles at our Sabbath potluck to offering seminars on smoking cessation and stress-free living we want to provide lots of ways for people to lead healthy and happy lives.

Personal Ministries

Personal Ministries

Personal Ministries is a facet of the church whose origin can be traced to the beginning of Seventh-day Adventist history in the 1860s. It endeavors to inspire, motivate, equip, train, and mobilize all members for dynamic Christian service with the conviction that “The church of Christ is organized for service” and “Every son and daughter of God is called to be a missionary; we are called to the service of God and our fellow men”.

Sabbath School

Sabbath School

Sabbath School is one of the most important parts of Sabbath. It gives us the opportunity for fellowship, mission understanding, outreach and one of the greatest parts, Bible study and discussion. What a privilege to be able to study our Bible and the Adult Bible Study Guide in a small group setting and make the wonderful biblical instructions practical for our spiritual experience the next week. No one should miss Sabbath School.

Join us every sabbath for Sabbath School at 10am.

Mens Ministries

Men's Ministries

Men doing ministry with and for men and the community--that's what Men's Ministries is all about. We strive to be godly husbands, fathers and role models through Bible studies, holding and attending men's retreats. We serve our community through events such as personal items distributions at the local men's shelter. We also have fun together at our regular luncheons and annual Super Bowl party. In today’s culture, we believe it’s increasingly important for men to honor God with their hearts and lives. Married, single, children or no children, there is a place here for you.

Prayer Ministries

Prayer Ministries

The goal of a prayer ministry is not to do all the praying for the church, but to equip, enable, and encourage church members to pray continually and effectively while making prayer a part of everything they do. The first and possibly the most important component in developing a church-wide prayer ministry is leadership that is committed to prayer.

Pathfinders Club

Pathfinders Club

Pathfinders are a worldwide organization of young people sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, though young people of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome and encouraged to join the organization.

Pathfinders is for those who are in the fifth (5th) grade or its equivalent through the eighth (8th) grade. 5th and 6th graders are often referred to as "Junior" pathfinders, and 7th and 8th graders are often referred to as "Teen" Pathfinders.

Women's Ministries

Women's Ministries

Bethany SDA women’s ministry encourages, equips, promotes and challenges women in their journey as disciples of Jesus and brings a woman’s perspective to the issues facing the church. Women’s Ministry is also an avenue where women can come together as a body of believers to encourage service and nurturing to the overall community.
